17 Brunswick Street, Belfast
So if you are visiting Belfast for business or pleasure, or a regular customer checking out our current menus, we will be delighted to make your stay or day a good one by booking you in for a great meal.
We have been serving food to locals and visitors for over 40 years. Our founder, Mr Tom Davis, started the family run business in 1968 in College Square Belfast, under the name Skandia. The Skandia group consists of three restaurants Aldens, Papa Joes New Orleans and ourselves Olio.
We are the original founding restaurant now in our third location. We started as Skandia in College Square in 1968, and then moved to Howard Street in 1974 where we stayed for twenty five years until 1999. That year we moved round the corner to 17 Brunswick Street where we are still situated today.
Serving good food and seeing people relax and enjoy the craic, company and comfort of family or friends, old or new is our joy and privilege. So book a meal to catch up and we will be delighted to assist. Our manager Sam has been with us for over 30 years. Just ask for Sam.

Again a superb dining experience! This place never fails to impress. The staff are so friendly, and couldn't do enough! The potato skin starters are just awesome, and the beef enchiladas are my fav dish in Belfast! Tender beef strips in tortilla wrap - a large plate full to absolutely die for!! and speedy service to crown a lovely experience! Top restaurant!
