The three courses that both myself and my girlfriend got were simply delicious however it was quite expensive for the amount of food on the plate for both starters and mains.

We recently attended a party for my son's birthday in James St South, which took place upstairs in the private room. Staff were superb and couldn't do enough to enhance our visit! The starters were quickly served and really enjoyable. For main we ordered the Steak, as did 9 people at our table and every steak came as ordered, and tasted superb! The Peroni Beer and House Wine were well chilled and perfect to go with our meals! Definitely recommend the Resturant and will be back! Big Thanks to the Staff, they made the night perfect!

Went for the first time at the weekend and was not disappointed. The service was second to none from the moment we arrived until we left. Menu has something for everyone, especially for trying something that bit different.....Ox Tongue Ravioli was amazing. The duck was superb for main, especially the cottage pie that was served on the side. My wife had steak.....best she ever had. Fine Dining at it's Best!!!

The staff was great and the food was excellent. We both ordered fillet which was cooked perfectly. If you are visiting Belfast I would recommend trying this restaurant.

Ate here with family on a cold evening. The bar and grill beside the restaurant looked very busy. The decor is very nice and it is quite big the restaurant. We were greeted very pleasently and couldn't fault the service when the manager asked us how our meal was. We had the risotto and scallops starters. The risotto was a little under and the scallops was delicious. Overall the food was a little disappointing maybe because I was expecting so much. We had a nice evening and would I return.. I don't know we shall see.

I've been bringing clients to lunches and dinner here for quite a while now (years), but never posted a review as Menu pages didn't provide the service here. As a business venue it is superb. The flavours are always excellent and the service professional.. (at least until a recent experience) There is a "manager" who needs to be skilled up and she really is a trial, but I will write more of this later.. The atmosphere is very nice and is definitely one of the top restaurants in the province. . The wine choice is good though expensive. A celebratory dinner (without champagne) for six can set you back about £800 if you push the boat out.. Great for a special occasion or an intimate dinner and highly recommended. Lunch value is also superb without losing any finesse. Now back to recent service: I could name names but I won't be too unkind: but Niall please note your "manager/ess" needs to be up-skilled and learn how fine dining service is provided. If I want a buddy or to be friendly I will invite her conversation. It is not appropriate for her to butt into my dinner after the wait staff have already tended us well. And the manner she treats some of your wonderful staff is a crime.. I left a message but got no response. I will be back next month and see how the dinner experience unfolds but the last few times have been awkward.. Final word; fine food and wine is only exceptional when you have wonderful service and surroundings.
